How do I know Surgical Art is the best choice for me? Can my initial consultation be done in UK? Will I be able to get a total cost during my first consultation? Do I get any discounts on multiple operations? Can I change my mind before the operation? What about the aftercare? Can I combine surgery with tourism? Is there any risk of complications if I travel after my surgery? What happens if something goes wrong? What are the most important things to know before my surgery? How do I know Surgical Art is the best choice for me?One of the first things to do is fill in the form to ask for more information about our practice, surgeon and staff.
Contact us and make an enquiry about the surgery that you require. We will do our best to tell you everything you need to know. Upon request, we will send you brochures, cost details, our surgeon's professional background, etc. Can my initial consultation be done in UK?Yes, Dr. Eleftheriou offers initial consultations in his London office. You will be able to meet him and talk to him about your expectations and concerns. Will I be able to get a total cost during my first consultation? We will give you an upfront cost and we will make sure to tell you what this includes. Do I get any discounts on multiple operations? We offer discounts on the price of surgery when you decide to have more than one operation in the same day. For instance, if you will have a face lift with eyelid surgery and a chemical peel, there is a 10% off on the second operation, and 15% off for each subsequent operation.
Depending on the case, our policy also provides for low prices and extras included afterwards. Can I change my mind before the operation?YES! Remember that you can change your mind at any time, even five minutes before the operation! What about the aftercare?Dr. Eleftheriou will be able to see you on a periodically basis when he travels to London to visit his patients and meet new ones.
A nurse is available at all times in London assisting with stitch removal or wound care if necessary. Can I combine surgery with tourism?Vacations and fun activities sound enticing, but some vacation related activities may compromise your recovery. We will not promise you extravagant adventures like tango nights, and extreme sports, but we do recommend spending your post-surgery period in our relaxing, beautiful city for a faster and less traumatic recovery. Is there any risk of complications if I travel after my surgery? We recommend you have at least seven days post-surgery recovery period. You should plan your surgery on a 10 to 14 days basis to allow for a reasonable post-surgery recovery period; you will not be signed out before recommended length of time needed for immediate post-surgery recovery. Departing without having doctor's authorization, will be taken as a serious fault for which we will not take responsibility. What happens if something goes wrong? We will make you aware beforehand about the procedure in case of complications or if you are unhappy with the surgery. Immediate postoperative problems can be solved during your stay in the hospital. In case of problems arising while you are at home, you must contact Dr. Eleftheriou, and follow his instructions.
Your surgeon will tell you from your first visit that it is important to have realistic expectations. If you are not happy with your procedure, we will seek a solution. Our policies in this regard are the same as in the UK. What are the most important things to know before my surgery?
