A very passionate surgeonDr. Eleftheriou dedicates a big part of his time to researching and perfecting new techniques in facial surgery. To this end he attends specialized workshops, seminars, and conferences in his field, where he has the opportunity to meet, work and consult with other worldwide specialists in facial cosmetic surgery. A very passionate surgeon, Dr. Eleftheriou graduated from the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Faculty of Dentistry, Greece. In February 1998, he went on to become a resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Rambam medical Center, Technion-Faculty of Medicine, in Haifa, Israel. In order to enrich his knowledge, Dr. Eleftheriou has attended over the years courses such as AO Maxillofacial Trauma Course and Advanced Trauma Life Support Course for Doctors in Cyprus and Israel. According to his own words, Dr. Eleftheriou owes his professionalism and vast experience to observing and assisting well-known, talented cosmetic surgeons in Europe and the US during consultations and operations. His area of expertise also covers specializations in Laser Applications and Injectable Materials for Facial Rejuvenation, Rhinoplasty and The Use of Lasers in the Oral and Maxillofacial Region. To this end, he attended many exclusive courses during various international conferences of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In 2005 he attended a master class in Botox and Restylane, a course in Alveolar Distraction Osteogenesis and in Alveolar Reconstruction Using Intra Oral Bonegrafts in Greece, Cyprus and Israel. He has also attended the Facial Aesthetic Surgery Techniques at the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology, University of Vienna Medical School during the 17th International Conference of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, in Vienna, Austria. |
An exciting careerHis exciting career was enriched with the opportunity to observe and participate in 2006, in a seminar in the Cosmetic Facial Surgery Center, Richmond, Virginia, USA. Then, Dr. Eleftheriou completed a training on the clinical use of UltraPulse Encore CO2 Laser for Resurfacing and other Cosmetic Procedures. Dr. Eleftheriou understands that cosmetic surgery is continuously evolving to offer patients more advanced techniques with great natural results. His passion and commitment for his work determined him to enroll also in an Advanced Open Structure Rhinoplasty Course at the Department of ENT, University of Dundee, Scotland, UK. In addition, he attended a master class in Facelift with Live Surgery, organized by the European Society of Aesthetic Surgeons, Cambridge, UK in the Cambridge Private Hospital. Since 2005 Dr Eleftheriou has been an instructor at Alpha-Bio Implant Company. His role is to instruct dentists how to diagnose, plan and surgically insert osseointegrated dental implants. In addition, since September 2004, he has been working as an instructor CPR/AED/First Aid, Emergency First Response Primary/Secondary care. His many qualifications make Dr. Eleftheriou a specialist in advanced cosmetic facial techniques such as Facelift, Browlift, Facial Liposuction, Atvanta Lip Implants, Cheek and Chin Implants, Botox, Restylane, CO2 Laser Resurfacing, Lumenis IPL and Hair Removal, Ellman Radio Wave Surgery. |
